Kandid Camera™ (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our website, applications, and related services (the “Service”).

The Service is designed for event hosts, venue staff, collaborators, and guests who collect photos and build live slideshows for celebrations and gatherings. Because the content may include personal photos and messages, we handle data with care and limit use to what is needed to provide the Service.

Account information. Name, email address, organization and venue details, role (host or collaborator), and authentication data used to secure your account.

Event content. Photos, music, slide text, presentation settings, guest contributions, and related metadata uploaded by hosts, collaborators, or guests.

Usage and device information. Log data, browser type, IP address, display device pairing identifiers, session activity, and similar technical information used to secure and operate the Service.

Billing information. Subscription status and payment-related identifiers processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

We use information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Authenticate users and enforce organization and venue access controls
• Enable collaboration on event slideshows and venue displays
• Process subscriptions and communicate about billing
• Respond to support requests and security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

We may use automated tools, including AI services where configured, to assist with guest photo review or presentation features. Such processing is limited to the event context in which content is submitted.

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers that help us operate the Service, such as secure hosting, file storage, sign-in services, payment processing, and optional AI tools when enabled
• Your organization — hosts and authorized staff at your organization can access events and content within their venues
• Collaborators invited to a specific event
• Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security

We retain account and event data for as long as your organization maintains an account or as needed to provide the Service. Event content may be retained according to your organization's practices and applicable law.

You may request deletion of certain account information by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required for legal, billing, or security purposes.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encrypted storage for uploaded assets, authenticated access controls, and tenant-scoped data separation by organization and venue.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use strong passwords and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the information below.

Hosts can manage team access, venues, and display devices from account settings. Collaborators can contact their event host regarding event content.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Guest contributions and collaborator accounts should be managed by adults authorized by the host or organization.

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to such transfer subject to applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
